Commending John Henry Printing.

WHEREAS, John Henry Printing, a leading print shop serving the residents and businesses of York County, celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2024; and

WHEREAS, John Henry Printing was founded by John Stanaway and his son-in-law Henry, who leveraged their experience working at a family printing business in Newport News when they established their new print shop in York County in 1979; and

WHEREAS, Randy and Charlene Stanaway, who now own and operate John Henry Printing, are avid car enthusiasts, including owning their award-winning Ford Mustang; and

WHEREAS, John Henry Printing offers an array of print services to meet the various needs of its customers, including custom printing, graphic design, wide format printing and signage, lamination, stickers, business cards, brochures, and more; and

WHEREAS, John Henry Printing has ably adapted over the years by investing in new technologies, shifting from an entirely offset printing operation to one that incorporates color copiers and other high-end machinery; and

WHEREAS, the foundation of John Henry Printing’s success is the devotion of its owners and staff to customer service as each member of the business is guided by the philosophy that no job is too small and no deadline is too soon; and

WHEREAS, John Henry Printing owes its accomplishments to the visionary leadership of its owners, the hard work and commitment of its staff, and a steadfast faith in God, which together have earned the shop regular recognition as one of the top 100 small print companies in America; and

WHEREAS, John Henry Printing exemplifies the positive role that local businesses play in our communities as it has helped deliver spectacular services to York County residents; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend John Henry Printing for its service on the occasion of its 45th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Randy and Charlene Stanaway as an expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for the business’ history and its contributions to the Commonwealth.
