VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to direct that certain Department of Health emergency regulations related to prescription drug price transparency remain in effect until final regulations are promulgated; emergency. [H 592] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the emergency regulations in 12VAC5-219 of the Virginia Administrative Code, promulgated by the Department of Health pursuant to Chapter 304 of the Acts of Assembly of 2021, Special Session I, shall be reinstated and remain in effect until the promulgation of final regulations.

2. That the provisions of the first enactment of this act shall be retroactively effective beginning January 1, 2024.

3. That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
