CHAPTER 479 An Act to authorize the conveyance of an easement in Campbell County by the Department of State Police in conjunction with the Department of Transportation. [H 1331] Approved April 4, 2024

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of State Police and the Department of Transportation (collectively, the Grantors) are hereby authorized to grant an easement to the owners of Tax Parcel ID 34B-A-2 (the Grantees) sitting in Campbell County for that parcel and for the existing road and existing private gravel drive insofar as said road and private gravel drive cross Tax Parcel ID 34B-A-1, the lands of the Grantors, upon such terms as the Grantors deem proper. The easement shall be permanent and nonexclusive and shall run with the land for so long as necessary to serve the communications tower site on the Grantees' land. The easement shall not in any way prevent the Grantors or their invitees from using the easement area. The Grantors are hereby authorized to prepare, execute, and deliver such deed of easement and other documents as may be necessary or appropriate to accomplish the conveyance.
