E. The limitations referenced herein requiring that at least five days have elapsed from the time the prospective purchaser completed the consent form specified in subsection A. for the sale, purchase, rental or transfer of a firearm shall not apply when the prospective purchaser of the firearm is the alleged victim petitioner of a valid protective order which has been issued, and remains in effect, pursuant to §19.2-192.8, §19.2-192.9 or §19.2-192.10.
