SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:
Review of injunctions; petitions for review. Removes permanent injunctions from the current provision that when a circuit court (i) grants a preliminary or permanent injunction, (ii) refuses such an injunction, or (iii) having granted such an injunction, dissolves or refuses to enlarge it, an aggrieved party may file a petition for review with the clerk of the Supreme Court of Virginia. The bill increases from seven days to 15 days the period after the date of service of a copy of such petition during which an opposing party may file a response. The bill contains technical amendments. The bill contains an emergency clause.
