VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend and reenact § 22.1-274.4 of the Code of Virginia, relating to public elementary and secondary schools; automated external defibrillators required. [S 1453] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 22.1-274.4 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 22.1-274.4. Public elementary and secondary schools; automated external defibrillators required.

Each local school board may shall develop a plan to allow for the placement, care, and use, and funding of an automated external defibrillator in every public elementary and secondary school in the local school division and shall place an automated external defibrillator in every public elementary and secondary school in the local school division.
