Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of Human Resource Management shall update the policy related to the alternative application process for the employment of persons with a disability implemented pursuant to Chapter 218 of the Acts of Assembly of 2021, Special Session I, to [ (i) require all state agencies to post all available positions on the Alternative Hiring Process webpage of the online Recruitment Management System for the Commonwealth and (ii) ] allow individuals currently employed with the Commonwealth of Virginia an equal opportunity to apply for and obtain a Certification of Disability.
