To ensure continuity in the administration of the state assessment program, and notwithstanding relevant provisions of the Virginia Public Procurement Act (§ 2.2-4300 et seq. of the Code of Virginia), the Department of Education is permitted to extend the current state assessment contract until December 31, 2025.
