SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Heavy trucks; operation in certain weather conditions. Prohibits operators of heavy trucks, as defined in the bill, from using cruise control or compression release engine brakes when driving in active snow, sleet, or freezing rain.

SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:

Heavy trucks; operation in certain weather conditions. Requires the operators of heavy trucks, as defined in the bill, to stay in the right-most lane of any highway with two or more lanes in each direction and to not use cruise control or compression release engine brakes when driving in active snow, sleet, or freezing rain.
