SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:

Mandatory outpatient treatment. Reorganizes and clarifies provisions governing mandatory outpatient treatment. The bill also eliminates provisions allowing for a single order for a period of involuntary inpatient treatment followed by a period of mandatory outpatient treatment and instead requires entry of separate orders for involuntary inpatient and mandatory outpatient treatment in all cases. The bill has a delayed effective date of October 1, 2022.
