SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Conveyance of certain property; conditions. Authorizes the Department of Wildlife Resources to convey certain property to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation. Any deed of conveyance shall include a condition that the property be open to public use, including public fishing, and shall provide that the property shall revert to the Commonwealth if the condition is not met.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Conveyance of certain property; conditions. Provides that if the Commonwealth conveys all or part of the parcels described in the deed of gift entered into on December 29, 2004, between Rabbit Creek, LP and the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation, any deed related to the conveyance (i) shall include a condition that the property be maintained and open to public use and (ii) shall provide that if such condition is not met, the property shall revert to the Commonwealth.
