22103235DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity shall develop a detailed improvement plan for the Department's one-stop small business permitting program. The plan shall include the Department's assessment and recommendations regarding each statutory requirement of the Department. Such assessment shall include: (i) a description of the purpose and benefit of the statutory requirements to small businesses, (ii) the cost of fully implementing and maintaining the statutory requirements, (iii) the resources needed beyond those currently available to implement and maintain the statutory requirements, and (iv) the recommendation of the Department as to whether each statutory requirement shall be maintained as it currently exists or shall be amended or repealed. The plan shall be provided to the House Committees on Labor and Commerce and Appropriations and the Senate Committees on Commerce and Labor and Finance and Appropriations no later than November 1, 2022.
