Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 22.1-291.3:1 as follows:

§ 22.1-291.3:1. Retaliation against reports of child abuse or neglect.

No private elementary or secondary school shall retaliate in any manner against any individual who in good faith reports child abuse or neglect pursuant to Chapter 15 (§ 63.2-1500 et seq.) of Title 63.2.
