insert

Payment to a provider for participation in any in-person meeting pursuant to subdivision A 2 or deposition pursuant to subdivision A 3 shall be nonrefundable if such meeting or deposition is canceled within 14 days of the date of such meeting or deposition.

C. If a provider fails to comply with the provisions of subsection A without good cause, the court may, upon proper motion, impose upon the provider a fine of no more than $1,000 per occurrence and may award reasonable attorney fees and costs associated with such motion in any civil action involving the patient.
