        2. That the provisions of this act shall not become effective unless reenacted by the 2022 Session of the General Assembly.

        3. That a stakeholder group consisting of representatives of the Virginia Municipal League, the Virginia Association of Counties, and the Virginia Press Association and two members of the House Committee on Counties, Cities and Towns to be appointed by the Chairman of the House Committee on Counties, Cities and Towns meet to focus on finding mutually satisfactory and beneficial resolutions and to evaluate the current law with regard to local government legal notices and methods of publication with the intent of recommending more uniform notice requirements. The stakeholder group shall issue its findings and recommended policy changes to the Governor, the Speaker of the House of Delegates, and the Chairmen of the House Committee on Counties, Cities and Towns and the Senate Committee on Local Government no later than December 1, 2021.
