Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 32.1-45.5 as follows:

§ 32.1-45.5. Nursing home employees and residents; priority for testing.

A. As used in this section:

"Nursing home" has the same meaning as set forth in § 32.1-123.

B. The Commissioner shall ensure that residents and employees of any nursing home receive first priority for any testing indicating the existence of the COVID-19 virus in the Commonwealth.
