SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
County food and beverage tax; maximum rate. Provides that the county food and beverage tax may be increased to equal the highest rate imposed by an adjacent city if such rate is higher than four percent. Under current law, the maximum food and beverage tax rate for counties is four percent.
