20104543DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Chapter 1 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-111 as follows:
§ 15.2-111. Rescheduling or continuing meetings for weather.
At its annual meeting, any political subdivision, board, or authority may fix the day or days to which a regular meeting shall be continued if the chairman or mayor, or vice-chairman or vice-mayor if the chairman or mayor is unable to act, finds and declares that weather or other conditions are such that it is hazardous for members to attend the regular meeting.
