Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 38.2-3301.2 as follows:

§ 38.2-3301.2. Notarized signature of insured required.

No individual life insurance policy delivered or issued for delivery in the Commonwealth on or after January 1, 2021, shall be effective unless the policy contains the notarized signature of the individual on whose life the policy is issued.
