20104270DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 3.2-4114.3 as follows:
§ 3.2-4114.3. Regulation of hemp products; labeling.
A. The Board shall adopt regulations governing the use of the term "CBD" in any labeling, branding, advertisement, marketing, or signage related to a hemp product. Such regulations shall prohibit the use of the term "CBD" in connection with a hemp product and shall authorize the use of the term "H-CBD" or "Hemp CBD" for such product.
B. The Board may adopt regulations governing the labeling, sale, offer for sale, marketing, and advertising of hemp products.
