SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Renaming highways; localities. Provides that the local governing body of any county, city, or town may change the name of any highway named before 1965 within such locality. Current law allows for only the Commonwealth Transportation Board or the General Assembly to name or rename any primary highway, regardless of when the highway was named.
