SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Alcoholic beverage control; exemptions from licensure; nonprofit swim clubs. Allows any private swim club operated by a duly organized nonprofit corporation or association to allow its members to bring lawfully acquired alcoholic beverages onto the premises of such club and consume such alcoholic beverages on the premises of such club.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Alcoholic beverage control; exemptions from licensure; nonprofit swim clubs. Provides that, under certain circumstances, a duly organized nonprofit corporation or association operating a swim club may hold private meetings or private functions at which lawfully acquired alcoholic beverages may be kept and consumed by members and their guests without obtaining a banquet license.
