18105128DBe it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Department of Health shall determine the most effective means of protecting the public from cancer caused by exposure to radon, including the proper protocols to be used for maintaining equipment used to test for radon, and shall give consideration to the potential conflicts of interest that may exist in cases in which a single entity undertakes testing for and mitigation of radon. The Department shall report its findings and any recommendations to the House Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutions by December 1, 2018.
