Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 8 of Chapter 2 of Title 2.2 a section numbered 2.2-224.2 as follows:

§ 2.2-224.2. Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security to create public database for presentations and data sets related to substance abuse.

The Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security, in cooperation with the Secretary of Health and Human Resources, shall establish a clearinghouse for all publically available presentations and data sets related to substance abuse created by or for any agency for which the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security or the Secretary of Health and Human Resources is responsible to the Governor. Such information shall be accessible through a database made available to the public on the Internet.
