SUMMARY AS PASSED:

Manufactured Home Lot Rental Act; failure of landlord to correct violations; notification of tenants. Provides that if a landlord does not remedy a violation of an ordinance involving the health and safety of tenants in a manufactured home park within seven days of receiving notice from the locality of such violation, the locality must notify tenants of the manufactured home park who are affected by the violation. The notification may consist of posting the notice of violation in a conspicuous place in the manufactured home park or mailing copies of the notice to affected tenants.

Provides that if a landlord does not remedy a violation of an ordinance involving the health and safety of tenants in a manufactured home park within seven days of receiving notice from the locality of such violation, the locality must notify tenants of the manufactured home park who are affected by the violation.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Manufactured Home Lot Rental Act; renewal of lease. Requires a park operator to provide written notification to each year-round resident whose rental agreement is subject to automatic renewal of any violations that have been cited by the locality involving the failure of the park operator to comply with the obligation imposed by the Manufactured Home Lot Rental Act at least 60 days before the termination date. If the violations cited by the locality have not been corrected within 30 days of the termination date, the automatic renewal provision of the Act shall not apply.
