Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Special license plates for active duty members of the United States Air Force and certain veterans bearing the legend U.S. AIR FORCE.

On receipt of an application and written evidence that the applicant is an active duty member of the United States Air Force, or that the applicant is an honorably discharged former member of the United States Air Force, and following the provisions of § 46.2-725 of the Code of Virginia, the Commissioner of the Department of Motor Vehicles shall issue to the applicant special license plates bearing the legend U.S. AIR FORCE.
