SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Protective orders; contacts. Provides that an emergency protective order may prohibit the respondent from being in the physical presence of the petitioner or the petitioner's family or household members. The bill provides that the term "physical presence" includes (i) intentionally maintaining direct visual contact with the petitioner or (ii) unreasonably being within 100 feet of the petitioner's residence or place of employment.
