SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Petitions for guardianship or conservatorship; orders prior to the respondent's eighteenth birthday. Clarifies that a court may enter an order of appointment for a respondent's parent or guardian, or other person if there is no living parent or guardian, prior to the respondent's eighteenth birthday. The bill requires that any such order state whether the order takes effect immediately upon entry or on the child's eighteenth birthday.
