SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Transient occupancy tax; Arlington County. Permits Arlington County to impose an additional transient occupancy tax at a rate not to exceed one-fourth of one percent. The revenues from the tax shall be spent solely for the purpose of promoting tourism and business travel in the county. The bill has a sunset date of July 1, 2018, and is identical to SB 160.
