2016 SESSION
16106309DWHEREAS, Patricia Keys Fick of Topping, a respected member of the community and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died on March 7, 2016; and
WHEREAS, a native of Triangle, Patricia “Pat” Fick graduated from Occoquan High School and attended American University; and
WHEREAS, Pat Fick worked at the Navy Dispensary in Quantico, then focused on raising her family; and
WHEREAS, as a founding member of the Dumfries-Triangle Rescue Squad Auxiliary, Pat Fick supported the area’s first responders as they worked to safeguard community members; and
WHEREAS, Pat Fick enjoyed fellowship and worship with the community as an active member of the Church of St. Martin in Triangle; and
WHEREAS, predeceased by her husband, Jack, Pat Fick will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children, John, Nancy, and Mac, and their families and numerous other family members and friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of Virginia hereby note with great sadness the loss of Patricia Keys Fick; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the Senate prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the family of Patricia Keys Fick as an expression of the Senate of Virginia’s respect for her memory.
