Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Department of Transportation shall complete evaluations of the following significant transportation projects for forecast years 2020 and 2040 by December 31, 2016, according to the provisions of § 33.2-257 of the Code of Virginia: (i) additional Potomac River crossings west and south of Washington, D.C.; (ii) the project commonly referred to as the Bi-County Parkway; (iii) the lane capacity and multimodal expansion of Interstate 66 west of Interstate 495, with such evaluation including the assumption of the project pursuant to clause (v); (iv) widening the American Legion Bridge; and (v) lane capacity expansion by at least 100 percent of Interstate 66 east of Interstate 495, with such evaluation including the assumption of the project pursuant to clause (iii). The Department of Transportation shall publish the results of the evaluations of these projects on its website.
