Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding in Article 1 of Chapter 9 of Title 15.2 a section numbered 15.2-926.3 as follows:

§ 15.2-926.3. Local regulation of certain aircraft.

No locality may regulate the use of privately owned, unmanned, autonomous aircraft within its boundaries.

2. That the provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 2019.
