SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:

Roadside safety devices; identification numbers. Requires that certain roadside safety devices installed on or after July 1, 2016, be stamped with identification numbers by the manufacturer.

SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Roadside safety devices; radio-frequency identification chips. Requires the Department of Transportation by regulation to require that certain roadside safety devices installed on or after July 1, 2015, be equipped by the manufacturer with radio-frequency identification chips.
