SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Charter; Town of Branchville. Moves the date of election of the mayor and members of the town council from June to November and extends their terms from two years to four years. Council members serving on council who were elected in May 2014 shall have their terms of office shortened by six months but shall continue in office until their successors have been elected at the November general election and have been qualified to serve. The bill contains an emergency clause.
