Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 30-7.1 as follows:

§ 30-7.1. Members admitted to floor sessions of the House of Delegates or the Senate.

No member of the General Assembly who is actively serving a term of incarceration pursuant to § 18.2-8 shall be allowed to attend any floor session of the House of Delegates or the Senate or shall be permitted the privileges of the floor of the House of Delegates or the Senate, whether in the General or Special Session.
