SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Neighborhood assistance tax credits. Changes the Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit program beginning with taxable year 2014 by decreasing the tax credit percentage from 65 percent to 50 percent of the value of donations. The bill also increases from 40 to 50 percent the number of low-income persons that must be served by a neighborhood organization to receive an allocation tax of credits from the State Board of Social Services.
