SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
HOT Lanes. Allows state and local law-enforcement vehicles, firefighting trucks, ambulances, and rescue squad vehicles to enter HOT lanes by crossing a barrier or buffer and not be guilty of reckless driving. This bill contains an emergency clause and is identical to SB 1204.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
HOT Lanes. Allows state and law-enforcement vehicles, firefighting trucks, ambulances, and rescue squad vehicles to enter HOT lanes by crossing a barrier or buffer and not be guilty of reckless driving. This bill is identical to SB 1204.
