Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Virginia Department of Transportation, with the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized to convey that portion of a parcel of real property owned by the Department, bounded by Utterback Avenue, Frost Street, and Lot 78 in Marshall, Virginia, Fauquier County, further identified as Lots 79 through 85 as shown in the survey recorded in Deed Book 1300, Pages 1812 through 1821 of the land records of Fauquier County, containing 3.9313 acres, in exchange for real property adjacent to Route 55/Business 17, West Main Street, near Exit 27 of Interstate 66, in Marshall, Virginia, Fauquier County, and improvements to such property as determined necessary by the Department to render the property suitable for use and ready for operation as a park-and-ride facility. The total consideration received by the Department shall be of comparable value to the property conveyed by the Department in exchange.

§ 2. The exchange, and all documentation pursuant thereto, shall be in a form approved by the Attorney General. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute, and deliver such deed and other documents pursuant to appropriate law and as may be necessary to accomplish the exchange.
