SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Real property tax; exemption for disabled veterans. Provides that the real property tax exemption for veterans whose disability rating occurs after January 1, 2011, begins on the date of the rating. The bill also clarifies that a locality is not liable for interest on any refund due to the veteran for taxes paid prior to the filing of the affidavit or written statement concerning the veteran's disability.
