SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Elections; assistance to voters. Makes it unlawful for anyone to assist more than two persons in the casting of in-person or absentee ballots in one election. This prohibition does not apply to general or assistant registrars, electoral board members, their staffs, or officers of election. A violation of the section is a Class 1 misdemeanor under § 24.2-1017.
