VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 4.1-113.1, relating to alcoholic beverage control; outdoor advertising. [H 466] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 4.1-113.1 as follows:

§ 4.1-113.1. Outdoor advertising; compliance with Title 33.1.

All lawfully erected outdoor alcoholic beverage signs shall comply with the provisions of this title, Board regulations, and Chapter 7 (§ 33.1-351 et seq.) of Title 33.1 and regulations adopted pursuant thereto by the Commonwealth Transportation Board. Further, any outdoor alcoholic beverage directional sign located or to be located on highway rights of way shall also be governed by and comply with the Integrated Directional Sign Program administered by the Virginia Department of Transportation or its agents.
