VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to repeal Chapter 57 (§§ 2.2-5700 through 2.2-5702) of Title 2.2, relating to the withdrawal of the Commonwealth from certain interstate agreement; the Southern Growth Policies Agreement. [H 1034] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That Chapter 57 (§§ 2.2-5700 through 2.2-5702) of Title 2.2 of the Code of Virginia is repealed.

2.  That the Governor shall notify signatories of the Southern Growth Policies Agreement of the withdrawal of the Commonwealth from the Agreement.

3.  That the provisions of this act shall become effective on July 1, 2013.
