SUMMARY AS PASSED HOUSE:
Health requirements for students; immunizations. Allows licensed nurse practitioners, in addition to physicians, registered nurses or local health department employees, to immunize public school students and to provide proof of such immunizations. Also, provides that a licensed nurse practitioner may provide written certification that an immunization may be detrimental to a child's health for purposes of compliance with health requirements for public school students, home-instructed children and children exempted or excused from school attendance.
