SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Stocking of game animals and fish. Requires that policies to acquire and introduce any new species of game birds, game animals, or fish on the lands are implemented only with the authorization and cooperation of affected local governments. This bill is identical to SB 1017 (Puckett).

Stocking of game animals and fish. Requires that policies to acquire and introduce any new species of game birds, game animals, or fish on the lands are implemented only with the authorization and cooperation of affected local governments.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Stocking of game animals and fish. Requires the Board of Game and Inland Fisheries to receive approval from the local government before (i) introducing new species of game birds, game animals, or fish, (ii) restocking, replenishing, or increasing such depleted native species, or (iii) relocating nuisance species of birds or animals in the locality.
