SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Workers' compensation; MRSA presumption. Adds methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) to the list of infectious diseases that, if contracted by certain public employees with a documented occupational exposure to blood or body fluids, are presumed to be an occupational disease compensable under the Workers' Compensation Act.
