Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That the Department of Social Services shall eliminate the mandate, imposed on local departments of social services pursuant to [ § 63.2-401 of the Code of Virginia and Section 3.20 of the Department's Finance Guidelines Manual for Local Departments of Social Services and identified as ] SHHR.DSS014 in the 2010 edition of the Catalog of State and Federal Mandates on Local Governments published by the Commission on Local Government, related to office space and facilities requirements. This mandate has been recommended for elimination by the Department pursuant to § 15.2-2903 of the Code of Virginia.
