SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE: (all summaries)
Transient occupancy tax; Brunswick County; Washington County. Adds Brunswick County and Washington County to those localities authorized to impose a transient occupancy tax not to exceed five percent, with any excess over two percent to be spent solely on tourism. Under current law, any county may impose a transient occupancy tax not to exceed two percent.
