HOUSE BILL NO. 2656 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Appropriations on January 30, 2009) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Ward) A BILL to withhold the conveyance of certain property of the Commonwealth.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. §1.  The Governor shall hold in abeyance the conveyance, in the name of the Commonwealth, the property commonly known as the campus for the Virginia School for the Deaf, Blind and Multi-Disabled, and shall not allow such property to become surplus until July 1, 2010.
