Be it  enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 1 of Chapter 155 of the Acts of Assembly of 2007 is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 1. That portion of U.S. Route 19 in Russell County between Virginia Route 80 at Rosedale and the Russell/Tazewell County boundary in Russell County and U.S. Route 460 at Claypool in Tazewell County is hereby designated the "American Former Prisoners of War Memorial Highway." The Department of Transportation, at the request of the local governing body, shall place and maintain appropriate signs indicating the designation of this highway. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this highway or any portion thereof.
