SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Property; release of deed of trust.  Increases from $500 to $1,000 the amount forfeited by the lien creditor if the lien creditor has not, within 90 days after receiving the payoff payment, either provided the certificate of satisfaction to the settlement agent or delivered it to the clerk's office with the necessary fee for filing.
